Julian Brown　結合實用與趣味的經典工業設計

1955年出生於英國，1983年取得英國皇家藝術學院(Royal College of Art)的碩士學位，並加入奧地利保時捷設計中心。

1988年憑其對工業設計創意方面的卓越貢獻，入選為英國皇家藝術協會「皇家設計師」。

其多款著名的獲獎作品，如大象膠台、鱷魚訂書機、青蛙打孔機、戰士帽鬧鐘等呈現理性與實用卻又有詼諧風趣的造型。被讚譽為迪士尼與包浩斯的首次相遇。

「造型的背後，往往有他背後的思考存在」，這是Julian一直強調的設計理念。

不論是在傳統的無趣工具中添加生命；或是將隨手可得的生活經驗融入作品設計中，Julian始終以其獨特的個人風格，玩在其中，更樂在其中。
